The region of Alsace stretches north to south near the Rhine River and the border of Germany, in Northeastern France. This region is famous for its white wines such as riesling, gewurztraminer, and pinot gris. 

Alsace has a cool climate, and its wines are full of acidity and refreshing aromas. Alsatian wines are classified as Alsace AOP, Crémant d’Alsace AOP, and Grand Crus.
